Weed campaign

Now that there are no rabbits and possums within the Sanctuary, native plant seedlings are coming up everywhere.  Unfortunately so are the pest plants, so with support from the Auckland Council Biosecurity and Hibiscus Matters we’ve been running some advertisements encouraging Whangaparaoa residents to remove weeds and so stop them spreading to cliff-tops, reserves and the Sanctuary.

Each month we’re also posting more details about each weed, which you can review from the links below.
