Regular hands-on working group
We have established an informal working group on the last Sunday of every month. We will be updating this page regularly to let you know what we’re doing each month. You can also call Raewyn on 09 424 2066 to find out more, or keep an eye on our Facebook events page. You don’t need a Facebook account to view it, but if you do have one already, you can join our page and receive automatic notifications each time we update it. Just click on the “Like” button and you’re done!

Discovery Tours
We have done several successful sanctuary discovery tours now, reaching several hundred students from different schools. We have had fabulous feedback - the students are learning lots and the volunteers are loving passing on their knowledge. This activity is also a good source of donations for the society. Please contact us if you would like to organise a discovery tour for your school.
We are planning to extend these tours to the wider community in the near future, so stay tuned and get in touch if you would like to register your interest.
