SUPPORT

The Shakespear Open Sanctuary is a partnership between the community and the Auckland Regional Council and has the support of Rodney District Council and the New Zealand Defence Force who also own land within the Sanctuary.  However the land owned by the Defence Force and Rodney District Council remains off limits although it is included in the sanctuary

We want as many members as we can get to help us with great project and there is plenty of voluntary to do seed collecting, planting trees, pest control, and fund raising.

By becoming a member you involving yourself with a healthy and positive
community initiative which is good for all us except those introduced pests which have got to go.

There are several ways you can support us:
