SUPPORT - HOW YOU CAN HELP
The Shakespear Open Sanctuary is a partnership between the community and the Auckland Regional Council and has the support of Rodney District Council and the New Zealand Defence Force, who also own land within the Sanctuary.
We want as many members as we can get to help us with this great project and there is plenty of voluntary work to do, such as collecting seeds, planting trees, pest control, and fundraising.
By becoming a member you will be involving yourself with a healthy and positive community initiative which is good for all of us, except for those introduced pests which have got to go.
